Word of Mouth Basic Training -- Word of Mouth Marketing Association -- WOMMA

One way (and a very effective way) to market Toastmasters to prospective new members is through Word of Mouth (WOM) Marketing.

The link below includes a list of 43 ideas from WOM Marketing experts and while most are stated in terms of business, I'm sure you will see some that could be used in Toastmasters!

Thanks for the link. I'm actually a former member of the Daniel Wright Toastmasters in Libertyville, Illinois, so it was a pleasure to see your post here about the 43 ideas.

The part about word of mouth marketing that's truly amazing is that even though the ideas listed here may be for business, they apply in so many other areas as well. It all comes down to the idea that people love to talk to their friends and colleagues about the things that they are passionate about. Happy customers and passionate advocates are always your best advertisers.
